Nebraska=Not Our Friend
Ode to free wireless at the Best Western in Cleveland, Ohio! We are now at the end of day 2 of our road trip to Virginia. Yesterday was a 16 1/2 hour drive through Idaho, Wyoming, and Nebraska. It was flat and brown. The end. We got pulled over in Nebraska for an "improper turn"...in simpleton terms Adam didn't put on the blinker as we pulled off an exit to go to Wendys. Real reason the cop pulled us over (which he didn't say of course): he thought we were hauling drugs in our thugged-out MINIVAN!! This cop pulled up behind us and followed us for a bit, then as we pulled off the freeway he followed us a bit longer and THEN put on his lights. Totally bummed, Adam pulls over and waits to find out what he did wrong. The officer comes up with an attitude to match the badge and asks for BOTH our licenses and our car paperwork. Then he has Adam get out of the car (which has us both worried), asks if we have drugs or weapons, then has Adam sit in the police car with him! What they hey! In my head I'm thinking, A) this cop is gonna drive off with my husband or B) we're on TV and we've won $500, which would be a sick sick joke. However, neither of these things happened, instead he asked Adam a second time if we had drugs or weapons, asked why we were all the way out here from California, what he is studying in school, if we're married, and ONCE AGAIN if we have drugs or weapons. Seriously?! Adam responds: "No, we don't do that stuff" and the officer lets us off with a written warning for our lack of blinker. In short, we no longer have a loving relationship with Nebraska--not that we ever did.

Whatever Ton! We all know what you and Adam really do to make money. Honestly, how else would you be able to afford your thugged out minivan!? Just keep on driving, you shouldn't get pulled over again unless Adam IS wearing a dew- rag;)
oh my gosh. that's hilarious.
