4th of July Weekend

Last weekend we finally got my parents and little bros to come visit us ALL the way up here in Idaho. We've been trying to guilt them into it for a few months because nobody ever comes to visit us up here, and my dad has never seen Idaho in the summer. The only time he's ever been here is in the winter, and we wanted to convince him that Idaho does actually have the potential of being pretty when it's not covered in ice and snow (which is only about 4 months out of the year). So they came up on Friday and we went to Riot Zone in Rigby and had a game of mini golf, played like the children we are on the many inflatable toys. On Saturday we drove up to Yellowstone which is especially gorgeous this time of year, had a barbeque in our backyard, and set off some fireworks. Sunday was church and a tour of Rexburg-the temple, the huge homes beside it, and the campus construction. We took them on our weekly Sunday walk with Duke, and they left, sadly, early Monday morning. We were sad to see them go, but so glad we got to show them a fun weekend in our neck of the woods! Here's some pictures of the weekend with more to come once Justin emails them to me!

Did I mention we had a little storm and the inflatables were soaking wet??

Hot pools--way cool, but smell nasty!

We really loved being in your neck of the woods (literally). It was fun to have the boys enjoy the great out doors. Clearly we need to do it more often since Tanner was so timid about the hot pools and geysers.

Hey, I know just where you took those sulphur springs shots. Isn't Yellowstone amazing? Fun to see your shots.
